Values and Practice
Therapy with Scarlett occurs in 53-minute sessions via DoxyMe video meeting. It is vital that you be in a quiet, private place during therapy.
I use homework. I always ask clients to practice the skills that we address in therapy outside of our sessions. I believe that in order for therapy to work, it requires people to be actively working in their day-to-day lives toward the achievement of their goals.
I am flexible in how I structure our therapy sessions; I tailor my approach to your individual needs. For example, I work to center empathy and practice active listening if you simply need a supportive environment for expressing yourself. Alternatively, if you are looking for assistance with your struggles, I offer structure and guidance in building specific skillsets.
Overall, I work to be a compassionate, empathetic, and caring therapist. I’m eager to use my years of experience to help you develop and utilize coping skills so that you can better deal with daily life stressors.
